Over 500 Indians gained Veergati in the Kargil War of 1999.
Since his first visit to a fallen hero’s family in 1999, Vikas Manhas has made it his life mission to visit and assist VeerParivars who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the country.
On the 25th Anniversary of the Kargil War, the “VeerYatra Merchandise” is our offering of gratitude to all our braveheart soldiers.

The FRONT of the T-Shirt reminds us of the sacrifices of Captain Saurabh Kalia and his team, who were ambushed, captured (after they ran out of ammunition), tortured for 22 days and then executed.
The BACK of the T-Shirt was the most difficult design – as we researched and typed the names of all the 500+ Martyrs of the Kargil War.
Every name is a heroic saga. You cannot help but wonder about these brave Indians who gave their everything in the icy mountains of Kargil. The youngest martyr was just 18 and the average age of the martyrs was 22.
SALUTE & GRATITUDE.

The BACK the T-Shirt has the map covering the Kargil War battlefield. Important peaks and their elevations are marked.
The Order of Battle (ORBAT) data lists all the combat commands under which the warriors fought for our nation. It is a fascinating list of infantry units, artillery units, paratroop units, engineers, etc.
